    Hello Skandha,

    The featured two columns functionality doesn’t give the same performance as the featured two columns in the catchmagpro theme as it seems.

    Can you tell me what’s my mistake?

    Kind regards

    @toerfiets: Hello Hans,

    The Featured Two Columns is slightly different in Travelore Pro theme. The 1st column is the Featured posts and the 2nd  columns are other remaining posts whereas in Catch Mag Pro there are 2nd and 3rd columns for the remaining posts.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Hello Skandha,

    Maybe I didn’t explain well.

    Here you can see the featured two columns in the demo site.

    Here you see the featured two columns in de staging.toerfietsleusden.nl site.

    I cannot make the featured two columns just like in the demo site.

    Kind regards

    @toerfiets: Hello Hans,

    The Featured Two Columns seems to be looking on your site. Try adding test to each of the post and it should look like in the demo.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Hello Skandha,

    This isn’t about the header highlights. It is about the featured two columns.

    Here the featured two columns in demo website

    Here the featured two columns in staging.toerfietsleusden.nl

    Kind regards

    Hello Skandha,

    I added a new page with a featured image. The result is the same. Not like the demo.

    I added a featured image 640 x 450. And the first line of content is in the featured image. If I use an image with other pixels: the result is the same.

    I hope you have a solution.

    Kind regards

    Hans Hagmeijer

    Hello Skandha,

    I repaired the pixels problem.

    The featured two columns problem has not been solved yet.

    @toerfiets: Hello Hans,

    I don’t think it is about the image. If you add text to the images in your Featured Two Column section it should look fine.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Hello Skandha,

    I am trying to add text to images, but this is only possible in case of the first image. The other images don’t offer this.

    Kind regards

    Hello Skandha,

    I cannot make the example featured two columns. I think I do something very wrong or there is something wrong in the theme. I think it will be me.

    The URL is staging.toerfietsleusden.nl

    I explain what I see in two images.

    The first image is what I see as I begin with making feature two columns.

    The second image is what I see if I want to add a page.

    Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Kind regards

    @toerfiets: Hello Hans,

    Please remove the following CSS Code from the Additional CSS which is hiding the date from Featured Two Columns section.

    .entry-meta .posted-on, .entry-header .entry-meta > span.posted-on {
    display: none;
    }

    Please let me know if you are having any other issue with the section.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    @toerfiets: Hello Hans,

    I see that you have disabled the Featured Two Columns section. Can you enable the section and check if it shows up well?
    Kind Regards,

    Sorry for that Skandha,

    Now I have enabled the section. The result is not beautiful.

    I set the sum of items on 5.  Te first page is well. The next 3 pages shows a big with space at the right of the title.
    I expected some text under the title and a read more button.

    In the website I will not add a fifth page, because the result is not beautiful That is no big deal.

    If this is not possible< is there another theme with that possibility.

    Hello Skandha,

    If you want to look to toerfietsleusden.nl you will see what I mean.
    The featured two columns is much more beautiful then in  staging.toerfietsleusden.nl

    If it isn’t possible to make the featured two columns as on toerfietsleusden.nl (catchtmagpro), let me know, then I go and search for another solution.

    Kind regards

    @toerfiets: Hello Hans,

    For that

    Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

    @media screen and (min-width: 48em) {
    .travelore-featured-two-columns-section .hentry {
    width: 25%;
    }
    }

    Let me know if this works out!
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Hello Skandha,

    This has not a good result. I made two images with the correct measures. I tried different percentages in css but that also didn’t give the for us good result.
    The result you can see in this image
    or in child.staging.toerfietsleusden.nl

    The result I should like is on our website toerfietsleusden.nl.
    You can see the image here

    Question: is there another catch theme, that makes this result possible?

    Kind regards

    Hans Hagmeijer

    Hello Skandha,

    The only thing I like here is a frontpage like the frontpage on de pro demo.

    Can you please help to get that effect.

    Kind regards

    @toerfiets: Hello Hans,

    Did you try using the recommended image size in this link? Also can you please elaborate the effect you are referring to?

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha
