    Hi,

    Love the theme.

    3 Questions

1.) How can I tell the text I am using in the featured image slider, where to go? Say I wanted it justified right, etc.

2.) How can I make the whole picture a link? If I don’t have an excerpt, but I wanted the viewer to be able to click through?

3.) How do I get rid of the weird link that popped up?  On top of the image in the slider this appeared and I can’t get rid of it:

    ” href=”http:// (the link I posted) “>

    Thanks!

    Jeff

    Hi jsvoboda,

How did you disable the links from your homepage gallery slider. In my site, I’d just like it to be a gallery image slider w/ no links like yours.

    Thanks in advance,

    -j

    Hey

Which links? The “continue reading” deal?

That was under excerpt / more tage settings in the theme options. I just erasd all of the words..

But I am still curious why when I add a link it comes up on the top of the page with coding?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

@jvargas84: If you just use the Featured Image Slider in the Catch Everest Pro. You have option not to add in the links.

    Hi

I have a similar problem with the slider image. The page is:

    http://www.tarm-handel.dk

I have added 2 sliders so far. When I roll over the text part of the slider (title and short description), then it links to the correct destination, which is:

    http://www.tarm-handel.dk/markedsdage-i-tarm/

When I pull the mouse over the image, then a ” sign is beeing added on the URL, which leads to an invalid page:

    http://www.tarm-handel.dk/markedsdage-i-tarm/”

    How can I fix this?

    Thanks,

    Costas

@danskvand: You are using older version of Catch Everest. Please update and it will be fine.

Still curious, is there any way to determine where the text is placed on the featured slider post?

    Thanks!

    @sakin

I just did, but the problem is still there. The current version running is 0.1.5.

@danskvand: Yes after you update. Please change any value in Theme Options panel and click on save. Anything so that it clear the cache in Function set from Theme Options panel. Then refresh your browser and it will be fine.

@jsvoboda: The text in the featured post slider is the Title of the Post and the Excerpt of the post, which is auto from the content. But in WordPress you have excerpt box in the post from which you can further control the content. More about excerpt box http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/
