Hi,

The posts (images) in the Featured Slider on my homepage https://spotonlichtontwerp.nl don’t show in the follow-up I would like it to have.
It looks like the posts are shown depending on the moment these are written. Changing the publication date doesn’t help to change the order of appearance.

My settings in Featured Slider are as follows:
Enable on: homepage/front page
Select layout: 1 column
Boxes Display nav arrows, Display nav dots, Autoplay and Loop (Last to first) are all ticked
Transition time out: 4
Transition length: 0
Select slider type: category
No of slides: 10
Display content: hide content
Display meta: hide meta
Select categories: all categories

How can I define a custom follow-up of the posts?

The order of the post on the Slider shows up from latest post to the older posts.
If you want to change the order of the posts you will need to edit the posts and change the date of publish. I did this at my end and it seems to be working fine.

Is it possible to have a new post I publish go up on the sliders automatically? (that is, without having to edit each post?)

@davdkuko: Hello there,
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Featured Slider => Select type as Category as Select the Category of posts you want to show up on the slider and Publish.

Then when you add a new post Categorize that post into the Category you have selected on the Featured Slider.
