After the latest wordpress update the featured category slider does not pull from the latest posts but from the oldest posts in that category. I had changed the category for the slider to see if that category would pull the current and it does. I have disabled the slider for now until you can help me figure out what is wrong with it.

this is still not working for me. pulling the posts for the home page slider from the oldest posts. i am not being offered an update for the theme.

@davidsteakley:In Simple Catch you need to manually update the Featured Post ID to get the latest Featured Post to be displayed in Slider. Let me know if you have any other queries?

i meant, featured category slider. this is supposed to pull the 3 newest posts. it is pulling the three oldest posts. i have category set to “all.”
