I have created three pages yet my header menu has an extra ‘home’ page. Just can’t find it to delete. And, the footer in include the pages which I seen to recall setting but wish to remove but can’t remember how!

@keithwoolford: If you are using default page menu than your home will be automatically added in your menu. But you can build custom menu from “Appearance => Menu” and add menu items as per your need and then select menu location from “Appearance => Menus => Manage Locations”.
