    Hello,

I’m trying to create a dropdown sub-menu for the ‘about’ tab on my site (www.myinnerfire.net). The about tab is supposed to drop down and have ‘about me’ and ‘contact’ beneath the ‘about’ tab in the ‘fixed header menu’.

    I followed the following steps:
    1. created a dummy menu item ‘about’ by creating a custom link menu item and replacing the URL with a ‘#’.
    2. I moved the two pages ‘about me’ and ‘contact’ beneath the above ‘about’ menu item so they are indented below it and clicked ‘save menu’.

On the front end, no sign of the dropdown menu is appearing. There’s no little arrow next to ‘about’…and nothing drops down. I even cleared all my cache out and refreshed the page and still it doesn’t seem to be working.

    Please help!

    Hi @Invisible Cat,

The steps you’ve used for creating sub menu is correct. You’ve used a plugin “Royal Image Hover Effect” and seems it is because of the plugin’s css that is causing the current issue.
Try deactivating the plugin and check it.

Let me know if this fixes your issue.

    Regards,
    Mahesh

What a relief!!!! That fixed the problem. Menu works fine now. I would have never figured out it was one of my plugins. You’re my hero! 🙂
