    Hi,

    I have some printable resources that are image files. I have them inserted into a post via a gallery. When I click on the gallery image, it takes me to the the media/image page. All good so far. But when I view the media/image/attachment, it shows a blank space for the sidebar but no widgets are showing up in it. What can I do to display the widgets in the sidebar for image/media file attachments?

    Thanks. 🙂

    @Sakin There is no sidebar with widgets to the right, just the blank space of the right sidebar. I would like my widgets to show on this also. Is there a way to do that?

    @shuttergirl: Looks like there is issue with the sidebar.php file. Can you replace the code in sidebar.php file with the code in the following file.

    Hi @Sakin,

    I replaced the sidebar.php file in the the theme files, but it is still not showing the widgets in the sidebar.

    @shuttergirl: First recheck your sidebar.php file and then to be noted you need to upload the images from that particular post and then create [gallery] shortcode in your post to display the gallery.

    If you create image from Media Library and it will not know the page where it was uploaded from. These image will take the Sidebar Layout setup in that particular page.

    @sakin, I don’t understand what you mean.

    Oh, and actually, that file made the sidebar disappear everywhere. I had to remove it and put the original one back.

    @shuttergirl: Ok that’s strange. I think there was problem when you copy it. I have just emailed you. For details reply me there.
