Is there a way to remove the masthead only on the front page? If it helps, the webpage is gryffan.com and the front page is page id-2.

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

.home #masthead {
    display: none;
}

Let me know if this is what you want!
