    I would like to create a PayPal Donate button as a Widget to display in the Primary Sidebar but whatever I do appears either as HTML code or as a link instead of a button. Is there a way to use a PayPal donate button as a widget?

    Thanks!

    @heinelg: Hello there,

    Did you try using the Custom HTML wiget? Also please post in your site URL with your html code for the paypal widget so that I can look into the issue?

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Heine,

    You need to get the HTML code from PayPal and then add in the widget using the Custom HTML widget. See this screenshot https://cldup.com/LUusdAZV1n.jpg

    When I tried to use the Custom HTML widget the site displayed the HTML code in the sidebar instead of the PayPal donate button. I was able to make it work by creating my own donate button and adding the PayPal donate page link to it.

    Hi Heine,

    It’s strange why it didn’t work. Maybe you added an embed link instead of HTML code. Thanks and glad to hear that it worked for you.

    Regards,
    Sakin
