ParticipantHello,
I’m using the page showing my latest posts. I translated the “continue reading” tag into dutch: “lees meer”. Strangely the first posts shows “continue reading” and the following four posts say “lees meer”.
Is this a bug? Or can you help me to get everywhere the translated text?
Thanx a lot.October 29, 2016 at 7:53 am #102429Pratik
KeymasterHI @de-diy-diva,
Can you try changing the Continue Reading in Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Excerpt Options=> Excerpt More Text to
Lees meer
and see if this works?Regards,

Thanks,

ParticipantHello,
I think we misunderstand eachother. Sorry I was not clear enough.I did change (and translated) the text of continue reading in appearance – customize – theme options – excerpt options and than the Read More text (there isn’t a excerpt more text on my screen).
And it works. I see everywhere my new text, EXCEPT for the first blogpost on my homepage. It still says “continue reading” and didn’t show the new text.
You can see it on http://www.diydiva.nlRegards,

KeymasterI understand what you mean. My question is did the text (on first post) still not change after changing the text option in Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Excerpt Options=> Excerpt More Text?

ParticipantHello,
I really don’t know how, but the problem is solved! All blogposts at my homepage display now the right translated text, even the first blogpost…

Strange indeed. But I am glad the issue is solved. Let me know if it occurs again, and I can help you solve it if it arises in future.Regards,
