First, I am a newbie at all of this, so the answer may be simple (I hope it is). I am following the install directions as follows:
Installation Using the WordPress Administration Panel #
1. You can download Themes directly to your blog by using the Add New
Themes option in the Appearance sub-menu.
2. Download Clean Box Pro from your Catch Themes member My-Account to your
Desktop
3. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel
Go to “Appearance => Themes => Add New”
Click on “Uploads” and Browse the downloaded file clean-box-pro.zip
from the desktop where you have it downloaded
And at this point is the problem. There is no zip file. Nothing noting anything obvious about install either. So far, I’ve experimented by trying some other files that looked possible, but nothing has worked.
What file do I select to upload to WordPress? I’m getting frustrated, so any help is welcome and appreciated!

@yourmarriagemaven: If you’ve purchased the theme, then you can download the theme’s zip file from catchtheme’s My Account Page https://catchthemes.com/my-account/. Download it from there then go to “Appearance => Themes => Add New” and upload the zip file there.

Yes, did that. When I select “add new”, and choose the file, it then seems to open it and there are a few other files and multiple other choices like .php, read.txt, etc. Nothing is a zip file or indicates install. That’s been my frustration. Not finding what the directions indicate!

I watched the video. This is the process I have been trying to follow. However, in the video, at the point where she selects the theme for install, she is selecting a compressed file. My file is NOT compressed, but opens. This seems to be the problem. Any idea how I can download it and keep it compressed?

@yourmarriagemaven: Its strange that the zip file was automatically uncompressed while downloading in your browser. Normally, it should have only downloaded the zip file. Glad to know you re-compressed it again and got it installed. Have a nice day!
