Hello folks,
I have a few pages on my blog where the wrong sidebar is showing.
For example, on this page http://www.arisnelmesidor.org/my-ads-2/, I have chosen the same sidebar option as for the page http://www.arisnelmesidor.org/ads/. On the later page, I have the sidebar I have chosen, but not on the former.
Does anyone know what causes this and how to take care of ii?
Thanks,
Arisnel
August 12, 2014 at 12:46 am #42297SakinKeymasterHello Arisnel,
Can you check both of your pages “My Ads” and “Ads”. Both of these pages are showing same sidebar. So, I don’t get it what is the issue.

That’s bizarre! You and I are seeing different things. For me the sidebar for the “Ads” page has three widgets: navigate, search entries; and Facebook like box. The sidebar for the “My Adds” page has a bunch of Google ads. What do you see?
Thanks,
Arisnel
August 12, 2014 at 2:16 pm #42321SakinKeymasterHi Arisnel,
I see that you have W3 Total Cache plugin installed. So, you might be seeing different due to cache. So, go the W3 total Cache plugin settings page and clear the cache and then refresh your browser and check in.

I did clear the cache in W3 Total Cache and the problem still persists.
Any further ideas?
Thanks,

August 13, 2014 at 7:20 pm #42382SakinKeymasterHello Arisnel,
But when I check in both of your pages, it’s showing same sidebar with
1. Navigate…
2. Search Entries…
3. Like and Share Arisnel’s Blog on FacebookSo, I don’t see any issue. Can you clear your browser cache and check in or try different browser.

SakinAugust 14, 2014 at 3:33 pm #42444ArisnelMemberThis is getting frustrating now.
I clear all browsers and blog caches. I open the blog using different browsers: Firefox, internet explorer, and chrome. I open the website using different devices. Same results: the sidebars chosen are not showing up properly. I choose one sidebar in page editing, but a different one ends up being displayed.
I cannot understand how you see the same toolbar on both the “Ads” and “My Ads” pages. In fact, if you are not logged in, you won’t see the “My Ads” page. Would that be the reason why you see the same sidebar? I experience the same issue with all pages under the “Koneksyon” page. Here is an example: http://www.arisnelmesidor.org/koneksyon/members-2/.
Simple Catch is nice theme. I am getting used to it already, but I don’t like what is going on with the sidebars. Are you the only person who provides technical support? Do you need admin credentials to look further into it. I cannot see how this would be a problem with the plugins.

August 14, 2014 at 4:44 pm #42445SakinKeymaster@Arisnel: The page that you have listed in here now is from buddypress. So, the page layout will not work in buddypress pages. I think we are in bit confusion about it. I will email you personally. Yes, I am the developer of Simple Catch Themes and I provide all the theme support.
If want more detail paid support the you can hire customizer http://catchthemes.com/hire-customizer/
