A few months ago I created a couple of websites, for different clients using ‘Adventurous’.
I used the correct dimensions for the slider images and the slider images looked lovely and clear on my laptop, iPad and iPhone. This week I noticed that the slider imaged on the iPad suddenly looked blurred.
This has happened on both websites. I also checked on another site I had created last year using ‘Catch Everest’ and this too has blurry slider images now. What can be done to rectify this, I was about to make a premium purchase from you for an e-commerce site, but need to ensure that the slider images look good on all devices?

When I check in your original image, it is blurred itself. Look at this http://www.femalefootballfives.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/fairplay_football2.jpg
Also I see WordPress core issue in blurred image after 4.4 Read this https://wordpress.org/support/topic/44-upgrade-made-featured-images-blurry
January 28, 2016 at 2:08 pm #83954LisHiltonMemberHi Sakin
Thanks for looking into this.I’m running WordPress 4.4.1.
Unfortunately I don’t have a screenshot of how it originally looked on an iPad
For the ‘Female football fives’ the background image was not very sharp in the first place, however the words “Fairplay football” were sharp. These words now look blurred on iPad and iPhone with retina diplays (interestingly the images looked better on an older iPad)
Do I need to update WordPress or add a plugin?January 28, 2016 at 4:35 pm #83963SakinKeymaster@LisHilton: Can you take screenshot from your iPad and upload it. Then add in link to your screenshot.
Can you install “Disable Responsive Images” plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-responsive-images/ and check in

I’ve uploaded the iPad screenshot to a sample webpage:

I’ve tried the plugin on one testing site so far, and the images still look blurry on the iPadJanuary 30, 2016 at 11:08 pm #84165SakinKeymaster@LisHilton: Did you clear you cache and refresh your browser after you install “Disable Responsive Images” plugin. As this

I have cleared the cache and now the sliders on the websites look fine with the plugin!
Thank you for your help with this!
