Hi

I added the audio widget on my front page.

Two questions:

Is it possible for the audio to play automatically upon entering the site?

And is it possible to edit the display of the player, so it only has a pause/play function?

And one extra question:

Is it possible for the audio widget to keep being active when switching between pages? So that the audio doesn’t stop when you click on a page?

@frej-martin : If you would like to get your audio played automatically you will need to add a text widget and embed the following short code in the text widget.

[audio src=http://en-support.files.wordpress.com/2014/10/istock_audio.wav autoplay=1]
Note : Replace the audio source file http://en-support.files.wordpress.com/2014/10/istock_audio.wav with the desired audio file. You can easily upload audio files to your media library. The player already comes with a Play/Pause function. The widget will not be active when switching between pages. If you would like to get your site customized you may hire customizer.
