How can I get rid of this?

Hi again

It seems like I can’t find a way to get rid of the 3 photos and text which is in the theme from the beginning, I don’t what you call them, but it is the 3 photos with the text underneath like “Nepal Prayer Wheels”, “Mount Everest” and “Nepal Yak Tibetan”
The photos are not even in the Media Library, so how can they show up on the frontpage???

For me it seems like there must be a coding error in the theme because what ever Im doing those 3 featured photo and text are not going away> And yes I have gone to “Customise/Homepage settings/Homepage featured Content Options” and in there checked the box “Check to disable Homepage featured Content” And in the preview window they are not showing up, weird.
Please help.

@klausm: Sorry, there has been a small bug in the theme and this will be fixed in the next update which will be released soon. We will let you know as soon as we release the update. Thank you for letting us find the issue and thank you for your patience.

In the next update??? Then I can’t use that theme! I can’t have a Cow on the Frontpage! There must be another way to remove the 3 photos and text, by some coding maybe?
This is urgent because the website should be Live today. so please help.

By the way, the Theme is at least 3 years old, so you must have had that issue before. How does all the other people with this theme get rid of those, what do you call them “Featured Posts” or something?

Hi Again

I am really sorry, but it seems like there is no bug, it was me who thought that “Customize” and “Theme options” was the same. So I didn’t see the options under Theme Options, sorry for that. But it is confusing because a lot of the options are the same.

@klausm: Customizer option was recently added to the theme. The options are same in both Customizer and Theme Options but are handled differently. And as you said, same option was working fine in Theme Options.
The Update is now available and you can now update to the latest version. The option in customizer will work now.

@klausm: Since you are using Pro verison, it cannot be updated directly through WordPress as other free themes. You’ll need to first download the theme from the account page then upload the theme and update manually. You can use Catch Web Tools(https://wordpress.org/plugins/catch-web-tools/) plugin’s Catch Updater module to update the theme. You can find the video tutorial on using Catch Updater to update theme in the link below.
