I have a primary menu set up at the top of my static home page, above a slider feature and a featured content layout.

When I click on one of the menu items (for instance, “Contact Us”), the navigation doesn’t just take you to that page… instead it places the “Contact Us” page content below the slider and content features. So you have to scroll way down to the bottom of the page to view the Contact Us info that you just clicked on. Scrolling down is not something that is intuitive for users to do when they’ve clicked on a menu item.

Is there an option I need to change? I’m not technical at all, so don’t really want to alter css if I don’t have to.

    thank you

I think I partially figured this out. I had the “entire site” option selected for the slider and content feature.

But when I deselect that, and choose Homepage/Frontpage instead, neither the slide nor Featured Content show up on the home page?

Alright… I’ve got it all figured out now. I changed the setting on the front page display from “static” to “your latest posts”. Not sure why that fixed it, but it did. You can disregard this thread of questions
