Custom Header Image for Logo

Hi all,

I’m using this lovely theme for a site for my running club and I was wondering if you can change the size of the “Custom Header Image for Logo”. It is just a bit too big. I would like it to be about 1600×200. Is it possible to do this?

Also how can I make the boxes the contain the content “posts” wider so as to fill more of the page?

@lsdinc: Yes, you can upload the image size of 1600×200. There is no restriction on this. Just go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Featured Image Options” and upload it.

For content widget in post, I don’t recommend it as it is balance as per the screensize.

As for content widget, you recommend not changing the size of it? It just seems very narrow when is full screen but I can live with it for the time being. Is mainly for static pages I would like to change it. I’m not really using any of the side widgets.

@lsdinc: If you don’t need any side widgets. Then you can change the site layout to “No Sidebar, Full Content” from “Appearance => Theme Options => Layout Options”. If you just want to change to full width layout to only few pages/posts, then you can edit that pages/posts and you will see Catch Evolution options below your page/post editor and there you can change the layout.

thanks for response. I have done that with the layout. I just want to have one center column for content so wanted to make the default wider.

@lsdinc: Hum I am confused. There in two layout option without sidebar. One is no sidebar full with http://catchthemes.com/demo/catch-evolution/no-sidebar-full-width/ and another is No sidebar only http://catchthemes.com/demo/catch-evolution/no-sidebar/.
So, what are you trying to do it. Maybe share screenshot of your requirement.

ah ok, I just realized I’m using catch evolution and not catch evolution pro. Would that effect it as I cant seem to find the option for “no sidebar full”?

Hey! I need help with my header image sizing. I made my logo through photoshop and saved it as a JPG & resized my image to 1200×170 px. When I upload through my header images the header image on the computer looks fantastic but on the mobile app it doesn’t look so fine. It’s small and itty bitty to read. Can you help?

@monti14: If you want same in mobile then you can disable responsive design from “Appearance => Theme Options”. As your image height is only 170px and width is 1200px so when it resize as per the screen size your image height is too small.

@niamh.katee: But you are not using our theme to support you. Can you contact theme author from where you have purchase it. We only support theme developed and sold by us.
