Hello,
I have a question about child theme.
Did made one with the Linea plugin.I’m always struggling with the homepage slider.
Every time when I install an update the theme pictures of the theme, a wooden cabin and an orchid will wipe out my pictures.
Do I need to backup some stylesheet in the child theme, to prevend this? And another question I have.
Is it possible to get a bigger font size for the Navigation Menu Widget?
The font size is really small, you’ll need a magnifying glass to read…Thank you,
Mare

Can you please post in your site URL so that I can look into the issue?Kind Regards,
SkandhaMay 15, 2020 at 10:48 am #246766MareParticipantHello Skandha,
I don’t think you can view my website? I have blocked a lot of countries in Asia. If you able to view it from the US, UK, Germany, France or The Netherlands you’ll see my issue. https://marebos.nl.
And again today with the update, my own slider photos are vanished and replaced by an Orcid and a Brick-Wooden Cabine or whatever.
I have pointed out this issue many times. I have used the Linea Child configurator to set my Child theme and it has moved all style-sheets into the Child theme. But nothing helps and this is going on since I have installed this theme for the first time in 2013…PLEASE help,
Mare

Are you having issues with only the slider after update? Are your other customizer settings retained after update?Kind Regards,
SkandhaMay 16, 2020 at 5:09 am #246844MareParticipantHello Skandha,
Yes, only after an update. My own slider photos are being removed by the “standard theme photos”.
Fortunately, the other customizer settings are retained.Regards,
Mare

This is strange. Can you let me which version you were using before updating the theme?Kind Regards,
SkandhaMay 17, 2020 at 12:12 pm #246972MareParticipantHello Skandha,
Sorry but really I don’t understand your question?
I wrote that I have suffered from this since the 1st installation in 2013.
If you had looked at your own changelog:
https://catchthemes.com/themes/catch-evolution/
You could have seen for yourself that the previous version was 3.0.7 ….But I hope this helps,

Have you found the solution?
An other question?
How many slides can I put in there or is it limited to 2?Regards,
Mare
May 24, 2020 at 9:09 am #247719SkandhaParticipant@marebos: Hello Mare,
You can put up to 20 slides in the slider. It is strange how all your customizer settings is retained except for the slider. I tried checking the issue at my end but I didn’t get the issue. Let me know if the same thing happens when you update your theme again.Kind Regards,
