    Hello,

Catch Everest Pro v1.6 (also previous version).
We have been using CEP for 6 months. The home page started to display with (by appearance) no text. The text is there but is in the some color as the background). Selecting shows that it is there.

Refreshing the page produces the expected result.

The page is quite simple. rosecityfutsal.com

I’m stumped as to what is causing this. I have added TotalCache (W3TC) and that helped for the day, but the issue returns the next morning.

    Thoughts?

    Kevin

@kevin.murray: I am bit confused about your issue. Can you take the screenshot of your site when you have that issue and add the link of your screenshot there. What is the problem in homepage?

@kevin.murray: This means it’s your server loading issue. Can you send same message to your Hosting Server Support and see what they answer. As this is the first time we are experiencing this issue and looks more of loading issue then of code issue.

@kevin.murray: Yes, you meed to told them that the site cannot load fully sometime and you have to refresh your browser to bring the site to fully load. Then you can share your screenshot of what happen.

    Sakin,

another resource suggests that it is an issue with loading Open Sans, sans serif. I am using the the Open Sans, sans serif in the Font Family Options of the theme.

Is the font loaded by Catch Everest Pro theme or Word Press itself? Any guidance?

    Thanks.

    “Gents,
We think this may be an issue with the fonts. It looks like the site is setup to call all versions of that font at once. The problem is, if the site doesn’t complete the entire call (slowness at google, server hangup etc.) then it’ll ignore the entire thing and load the rest of the page. Sans fonts. When you refresh it just pulls the missing elements and voila. Fonts.

The fix we’ve used in the past is to have the site call each version individually. Less chance of the problem.

    See if that works. “

@kevin.murray: SO has it been fixed in your server. Yes, Open Sans is Google Font and is loading from google

It got so bad that we changed the font to Sans Serif, Ariel.

So far, since the change, the problem has not shown itself again. I have not had a technical resource familiar with loading each version individually available to me yet.

Any guidance is appreciated. The Open Sans looked more appealing.

@kevin.murray: This happens only in your server and it’s good to add that directly. Ok then reset the font to default and try adding in the Google Font Plugin and test it.
