    I’m trying to set up my blog with Everest so that it has a static front page and a separate page for blog posts, with the posts showing up as excerpts. So far everything has gone okay, apart from the blog posts showing up as full entries rather than excerpts.

    Any ideas what might be going wrong?

    @NeilP: Check your setting at “Appearance => Theme Options => Layout Options => Content Layout”. For excerpt layout, you need to check in “Excerpt/Blog Display”.
