    Hi.

Is there a way to change the wording of the password entry screen? It currently says, “This content is password protected. To view it please enter your password below:”

Also, is there a way to hide the sidebar on the password entry screen?

@abisbee : You can change the wording creating a child theme and customizing the site as desired. Let me know if you are can work with child theme customization. You can select the layout from layout options under catch responsive options while editing the post. Let me know if you need any further assistance regarding the issue.

    Hi Tikaram,

I don’t want to use a child theme, so never pursued changing the wording on the password entry page.

    BUT

**** I have a special sidebar just for password protected pages and I want to add some sensitive information on the sidebar – but I don’t want it visible to everyone. I want to hide the sidebar if the password isn’t entered. Is this possible without a child theme?

@abisbee: For this, I suggest you to hire a customizer or find a suitable plugin from the WordPress Plugin Repository.

Let me know if this solve the issue.
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha
