Hello
100 % in Google Chrome gives a full width Theme.
125 % in Microsoft Edge gives a full width Theme like 100 % in Google Chrome.
It really doesn’t look good in Microsoft Edge.
How come ?
Best Regards

May 29, 2017 at 7:26 am #116449MaheshParticipant@masterchess: Can you please share a screenshot, it seems to be working fine as I tested. Please check our demo too.

Let me know further.Regards,
MaheshMay 29, 2017 at 8:32 am #116452Claus GamborgParticipantHi Mahesh
Thanks for reply. Ok. I enclose pictures in the following links from my Box.com:
100 % in Chrome: https://app.box.com/s/y0ejryhp5rj2xjmz8eunlxhcm2cn4dk0
100 % in Microsoft Edge: https://app.box.com/s/gy01kyp4p8ptwncx4jovqaj2bht2go6p
If I put Microsoft Edge to Zoom 125 % I get the same as 100 % in Chrome.
Just to mention it that it have nothing to do with the Header image it’s done according to Catch Flame Recommendations 1600 px x 400 px and the screen should be the same on both Chrome and Edge.
Best Regards

This is how it looks on both chrome and edge on mine. My display resolution is 1920×1080Regards,
MaheshMay 30, 2017 at 6:38 am #116495Claus GamborgParticipantHi Mahesh
Thanks for reply.
However. My resolution is also 1920×1080. That’s the problem. Image don’t fill out the screen. It looks like a 75 % screen size. 125 % Size in Microsoft Edge fill out the screen with image. Maybe we have different Chrome Browsers or versions. I don’t have a problem with Chrome it’s full size as image https://app.box.com/s/y0ejryhp5rj2xjmz8eunlxhcm2cn4dk0 and as shown on the Chrome Picture fills out the entire screen but not in Microsoft Edge.
So the problem is still there.

Claus GamborgMay 30, 2017 at 6:52 am #116498MaheshParticipant@masterchess: Do you have any plugins installed. Try disabling plugins and check if that resolves the issue.
OR
Try adding the CSS, hope it helps. Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Additional CSS box and add the following CSS:#header-image > a > img { width: 100%; }

MaheshJune 9, 2017 at 7:45 am #117195Claus GamborgParticipantHi again Mahesh
CSS didn’t change anything.
It haven’t anything to do with Plugins. It’s a Browser issue. I am now quite sure it’s a Theme Problem not being responsive to Microsoft Edge. In the way it doesn’t fill out the screen. You have the same problem with your Demo. Please look at screen shots: https://app.box.com/s/tkvccr6lx2on9d2oxmw2thucfbcjnmj5
Hope I’m not to harsh but it irritates me a bit as the website looks terrible in Microsoft Edge.
I use the same screen resolution 1920×1080, so it isn’t the Display that’s the problem.
I think it might be a good idea to talk to the developer of the Theme as there is a clear difference between Chrome and Edge View.
To be perfectly clear that I’m right. I have tested my website in another Theme Celestial and it’s responsive in both Chrome and Edge with 100 % View: https://app.box.com/s/5ahdhygi1035nmnjdah8g9hf7t2hgtsa No Problem.
Catch Flames Pro is not responsive. If not solved I need to buy a new Theme and I can only rate Catch Flames Pro, 1 Star.

MaheshJune 11, 2017 at 2:59 am #117308Claus GamborgParticipantHello Mahesh
If you’re using 125 % for Catch Themes it’s true.
Catch Flames Pro 100 % https://app.box.com/s/sato7t6062mlf88mebjsvdvhudnzrf02
Celestial 100 % https://app.box.com/s/kc3shntntw0fbj70l7k27a74e7xifa5e
Can you explain to me why Celestial is Responsive to screen in Microsoft Edge and Catch Themes are not ?
Regards
ClausJune 11, 2017 at 8:57 am #117328Claus GamborgParticipantOne thing more. Also make sure to test with the latest Microsoft Edge Version Microsoft Edge 40.15063.0.0, Microsoft EdgeHTML 15.15063 for Windows 10.
Regards
ClausJune 12, 2017 at 1:16 am #117363MaheshParticipant@masterchess: Can you try using image with width 1920px in the slider or header image please? Since you are using HD display.

MaheshJune 12, 2017 at 5:19 am #117373Claus GamborgParticipantHello Mahesh. Well now you didn’t answer my question: Can you explain to me why Celestial is Responsive to screen in Microsoft Edge and Catch Themes are not ?
Catch Themes show 80 % resolution and it goes for fonts too (very important to understand). It’s the entire screen that is 80 % if you zoom to 125 % you get the same 100 % screen in Microsoft Edge as when Zoom is set to 100 % in Chrome.
I know you’re trying to solve it but so far the problem remain even done what you instructed. So back to basic. Are you sure it’s not a responsive problem with Catch Themes using the latest Windows 10 edition ? Maybe I’m the only one where Catch Themes does not fill out the entire screen at 100 % Zoom.
The very funny thing is that the problem doesn’t exist with other Themes like Celestial. I don’t expect you can explain it.
I don’t believe my users are supposed to Zoom to 125 % using Microsoft Edge ?

ClausCatch Flames Pro 100 % https://app.box.com/s/sato7t6062mlf88mebjsvdvhudnzrf02
Celestial 100 % https://app.box.com/s/kc3shntntw0fbj70l7k27a74e7xifa5e
June 12, 2017 at 9:21 am #117408SakinKeymaster@masterchess: Celestial is using image size of 1920x540px in your demo and we are using 1600x650px in our demo. so, if you are viewing site from 1920 resolution then there will be spaces beyond 1600 and the image will be centered.
You can also check our new themes demo, which are build for 1920px resolutions. Like:
Lucida Pro: https://catchthemes.com/demo/lucida/
Parallax Frame Pro: https://catchthemes.com/demo/parallax-frame/
Nepal Buzz Pro: https://catchthemes.com/demo/nepalbuzz/So, if you want to get it solved in Catch Flames Pro
1. one option it to use “Featured Image Slider”, where you can upload image of your own choice. So, you can upload image of width 1920px then there will be no space.
2. another options, if to make image stretch by adding additional css in “Appearance=> Customize=> Additional CSS box”:
#main-slider img { width: 100%; }
June 12, 2017 at 12:00 pm #117423Claus GamborgParticipantHello Sakin
Thanks for a good response and answer. I can understand that.
Solution no. 1 worked for the Header image, so all good concerning that.
Now remain the issue that the font and size of a full width page is only 80 % width with a Zoom of 100 % in Microsoft Edge :
https://app.box.com/s/fnlmbogonb5c52cc8lpfzqdlevft9ham
Compared to Google Chrome:
https://app.box.com/s/8xarpilezysihdl274t3k2lipv846ki0
Both Chrome and Edge have a 100 % Zoom in the pictures. There’s a clear difference in the resolution.
I prefer to have same view for my users, which is quite a few as my website is known in approximately 160 Countries. If it cannot be solved with Catch Flames Pro is the by anyway an option to shift to Nepal Buzz Pro and pay let’s say 25 USD for the Nepal Buzz Pro with 1920px resolution as I already bought Catch Flames Pro as it might not be the best solution for my website ?
Best Regards
Claus GamborgJune 12, 2017 at 12:09 pm #117428SakinKeymaster@masterchess: Yes, you can buy Nepal Buzz Pro. Catch Flames Pro needs to be updated to 1920px resolutions. I will send you coupon code in your email address.
