I am having a little trouble with getting this theme to file my posts under the pages I have.
For example, if I post a recipe that features chicken, how would I get that post to also automatically file itself under the page “BIRDS”?
I would want it to remain on the main blog page, but also file.

    Is that possible?

Thanks so much for your time and input.

@bigbipper: Sorry I don’t understand your question. First please send me your site url so that I can understand your page “Birds”

To arrange the post, you can use either “Category” or “Tag” filter, when you write your post.

Thank, Sakin. My URL is http://www.paleomountain.com

What I am hoping to do is have my blog posts automatically file themselves under the pages I have listed in the navigation bar. So, in the example I gave you, if I posted something regarding “chicken” that it would also file itself under the paged named, “BIRDS”.

An example would be this other Word Press Website, http://www.paleomg.com

    Thank you again,
    Richard

@bigbipper: the site you have given me is using the Category and the post.

So, what you can do is:
    1. First Create the various categories you want to classified into through “Posts => Categories” from your WordPress Dashboard.
    2. Then create the Posts and assign it in appropriate category.
    3. You can build menu though “Appearance => Menu”. Where you can just add categories. See this http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

Thank you, Sakin. I really do appreciate your assistance. That should work for me. Appreciate it.

I followed the steps. However, it does not seem that the first post I have logged has also logged itself under the page of “Birds” or “Grilling”.

Maybe I did not execute Step 3 properly?

@bigbipper: I don’t get it what you mean? You should be able to do it through custom menu and also check the link where there is instruction to add it.

Is there anyway to change the featured image for each page?

@victoria: You can just set featured image in your page as well.

My end goal is for this to happen:

    1) I create a post that winds up on my main page
    2) If it is tagged with a keyword such as “COW”, then it will automatically post on the page titled “COW” in addition to also being on my main page.

I am just trying to organize the posts. The steps I have followed are not working, or I am not executing them properly.

@bigbipper: Just use the category and add the category to the menu from “Appearance => Menus”.

I got it. I am so sorry for missing the complete obvious. Thanks for sticking with me on this one.
