    I need to know how to hide a search bar that appears when I enter the blog.

    @mithrand: Please post in your site url. And by “when I enter the blog” means you want to hide it in particular page?

    @mithrand: This is because of the search widget in one of you widget area. Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Widgets and find Post Sidebar and then remove Search widget from there. Hope this helps.

    @mithrand: Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Additional CSS box and add the following CSS:

    .single #secondary .widget_search {
    display: none;
}
