Hi Sakin,
It isn’t a big deal. It should be nice if it was possible. Now I have to search another solution.
Thank you anyway.
Kind regards

HansParticipantHello Sakin,
I can understand that you don’t get what I mean. I will try again to explain.
The website is http://www.toerfietsleusden.nl. If you see the homepage on a big screen, all is fine. If you see the homepage on an iPhone (p.e. an iPhone 13 mini) all pictures are in a column. If you go to toerfietsleusden.nl/groepen a table. On a big screen, there is no problem. On a small mobile screen you see a kind of compressed table.
After turning the iPhone in landscape, the table is as it must be.
My question is: is it possible (it seems there is no plugin for) to provide me with some css to show a webpage on a mobile phone always in landscape. Then the visitors see directly the good picture. If you need screenshot, please let me know. If it isn’t possible, it is no big deal.
Kind regards

Thank you,
Basically I like to have an header image on every page. However, there are a few exceptions. If it is possible too use for those occasions the functionality per page to haven’t a featured image, then it is ok: every page an header image.
I think the best format for that is 1920 x 800 px. (like the header in demo) That is an aspect ratio of 16:6,6.Is that correct?

I think I solved this one. Cause: css to replace the header right menu to the left. Removing this css solved the problem.
Question: is it possible to move the header right menu more to the left in direction of the branding?
Kind regards

HansParticipantHello Skandha,
The prescribed ingot for featured content is 640 x 480. To me that is an aspect ratio 16:12. If I use an image with that aspect ratio, than the header image is too big or cuts off a part of the image. So the featured image with 640 x 480 is not usable, seems to me.
The image on the home page is 1900 x 800 px.
Most images have a aspect ratio 16:12. That means, that images made with that aspect ratio are according to me not usable, because I have to cut off a part of the height. In theme instructions I cannot find the prescriptions for the header image.

HansParticipantHello Skandha,
This didn’t work out well as you can see here.
The height now is correct. But now the width isn’t correct.
Even the home page doesn’t have a correct header now.
If I try to make the image wider and less height in CSS, than the proportions of people and things aren’t correct.Maybe I have to use another format of images. The problem is limited to the featured content, I think.

HansParticipantHello Skandha,
It is working fine. Tahnk you.

HansParticipantHello Skandha,
This is working, but now the header image is very big (high). Is there a way to make the header image as it is now but much less high. Now on my laptop I only see an image even if I scroll down.

HansParticipantHello Skandha,
This worked fine. Thank you.

This is the image (640 x 480) as it is.
This is the screenshot of the header with the same image.

Thank you. Now it looks fine.

HansParticipantHello Skandha,
It depends on the measure of the screen. On a big screen, probably the buttons showing up fine. The image yesterday was a screenshot of my laptop (13 inch MacBook Pro). If you look on mobile, the buttons aren’t showing up fine.

HansParticipantHello Skandha,
This is not what I mean. Now only the frame has been removed, but the image and text are as wide as they were. We should like that text and image are some wider. I want ask you too much for help.
I studied (as far as I can) on the alternative. I think: if I go on with the Travelore theme and I don’t use the headerhighlights and the featured two columns, that I can realize the website for our cycling club without bothering you. I learned a lot of you. Thank you for that.
Functionality as featured content and services section do very well in that theme.

HansParticipantHello Skandha,
This didn’t work as you can see on attached screenshot.
Some buttons are doubled in height.I will try to adapt css a bit.
But what we should like is (like in section most viewed of the travelore theme) left the description and right the buttons or urls (only url’s is also a good option.

HansParticipantHello Tikaram,
I tried and I think I did something completely wrong, because it didn’t work.
At first I made a new page. You can see it here.
After that I added this to the portfolio section. You can see this here and also the result.
You can see the result also on staging.toerfietsleusden.nl

HansParticipantHello Skandha,
I think, this is the solution.
Thank you for solving the issue.

HansParticipantI tried a number of things, I think it is a theme problem. I used the demo image for header content. The result is fine during adapting the site.
But when the site is on the internet, the image is not the same. The upper side is partially gone. You can see the head of the women on the demo image. You got my credentials. Please look at it and see the difference between the concept mode and the internet mode. I tried this on several domains and every time with the same result: the beheaded image.
Now on staging.toerfietsleusden I don’t use any css.
Kind regards
