I checked at my end with the latest php version and theme was running fine without any issues.500 Internal Server Error could mean a lot of things. I might mean you will need to increase the RAM. I’m afraid displaying posts in 3 columns is not possible. You will need to hire a customizer to get it done.You can use Essential Content Types Plugin. The option to select number of posts in archive page will be added in the next plugin update.

Problem 1: Are you using Catch Sticky Menu plugin on your site? Also can you try deactivating all other plugins and check if the issue gets resolved?
Problem 2: Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Font Family OptionsTo change the font sizes of any text let me know and I shall provide you the additional CSS code.
