Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

    padding-top: 0 !important;
    padding-bottom: 0 !important;
}

Let me know if you still want to reduce the height of the header.

I tried using an MP4 Video for the Header Media and it seems to be working well.
Can you please add the MP4 video on your site and let me know so that I can look into the issue. Make sure you publish the changes.

The Featured Content section was not showing up as you did not select as your Homepage Settings. Now I have selected the homepage settings as latest posts. You can change it.

To open the social icon links in new tab
Go to => Dashboard => Appearance => Menus => On top right you should see Screen Options => Click on it and Check the option Link Target.

Now, on Select a menu to edit: Select your Social Menu and Click on Select.
When you click on a social menu item you should find the Open link in a new tab Checkbox option.

All the free version has limited features whereas the pro version has Color Options, Footer Editor Option and many more useful features.
You can go to the theme pages link and checkout the compare tab where you can see the difference between free and pro version.
For Bold Photography Theme you can go to https://catchthemes.com/themes/bold-photography-pro/ and click on the Compare tab.

2. The option Homepage/Archive Layout works when you have latest posts as your homepage. But if you have a static page as your homepage you will need to use Default Layout option. I have changed your Default Layout to No Sidebar: Full Width.

3. The Edit link appears only when you are logged in. The big gap above the Testimonials should disappear considerably after site launch. Let me know if you still want the gap to be smaller.

4. The header image in rest of the pages appears full size like in the homepage if you use Entire Site, Page/post featured image option in Header Image.

5. The page title seems to be inserted inside the image. So you will need to remove the image to remove the title. It is done in a strange manner.

H2 has both the background image as well as the text.

The color options are only available in pro version of the theme using which you can change the color from the customizer itself. I suggest you to upgrade to pro. You can check out the additional-features available in pro version of the theme.

Alternately, you can change the colors using a bit of Additional CSS code. Let me know what you would like to do
