EdwinParticipant
Yes, it is working fine. Thanks.
EdwinParticipantThanks Skanda, that worked great. One more issue I discovered is the fade mechanism on the home page slider. I tried to slow the fade process down to maybe 2-3 seconds, but it will only do it on one speed – fast. You can view the home page here goldenbuddha.net Can you send code for this also?
EdwinParticipantI was referring to the footer menu, not the footer itself. However, I decided not to use it so we do not need assistance with that. I had probably disabled it before you got a chance to visit the website.
However, I have a different question. I am planning to buy a new aged domain name and replace my current domain. My website host warned me that some themes require manual script updates to the new url. Do you have any experience with this? Should I expect any issues with my adventurous pro theme?
EdwinParticipantPlease, the product images in search results are obviously displaying with the head cut off. Here – I will even post an example for you https://www.buddhastatuesnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Images.jpg
Do you think they look normal? If you cannot fix it please send code that will exclude product images from search results but display images from blog posts and pages.
EdwinParticipantIs there a solution for this or not?

But like I said, after I removed the sidebar.php text then the default sidebars also was disabled. So right now you cannot view it and this is how I want it to be.
EdwinParticipantHello, the code for the previous next blog posts worked. However, I already tried to disable the sidebar using your suggested method. It doesn’t disable the default archives and search sidebar which then appears by default.
EdwinParticipantI changed the theme to twenty fourteen and the problem still existed. I also disabled all the plug ins and the problem still persisted. I tried using the cart with the plugins disabled with both adventurous pro and twenty fourteen. The problem still existed under all circumstances.
So what are my options from here? Do I have a bug or something? There must be thousands or even millions of webmasters using the basic WordPress platforms with the Woocommerce shopping cart and it is hard to believe that this problem would exist on all those other websites. There must be some kind of simple solution for this.
EdwinParticipantI had a technician look at it and they think it is not a cache issue it is a cookie issue. Can you make adjustments to the script? That is what he suggested. They also confirmed again that cache is not operating on the server or in my website.
EdwinParticipantThe web hosting company told me they do not have server caching and the problem still persists.
EdwinParticipantI am not using any caching plugins that I am aware of. This is a list of what I am using at the moment https://www.buddhastatuesnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/plugins.jpg
EdwinParticipantHello, Do you guys have a work around for this? I just received a second customer inquiry about the same issue in the same 24 hour period. I have been working for over a year to get organic traffic into the website, and it is finally here and I can no longer ignore this issue. Please advise as soon as possible. Thank you – Edwin
EdwinParticipantThere was a typo in the word “display” but I corrected it and it worked. Thank you
EdwinParticipantIt is done, please try again.

September 14, 2017 at 11:40 pm in reply to: Change Featured Content Text Color on Home Page, but not on other pages. #122212EdwinParticipantHello, I tried this on my website and it isn’t working. https://www.buddhastatuesnow.com
Is there a different code? The black title text color for the featured content does not mesh with the rest of the page. A bend of grey/blue or blue/green would work better. I tried entering the referenced code in “Additional CSS” but nothing happened even after I changed the hex code and saved it.
Also, is it possible to enter a second Title? For example, if under the first row of featured content images I wanted to create a new title called “New Arrivals”. Then I would also want to change that color also.
EdwinParticipantThis is resolved, I found this code in the forum. It seems to be working fine.
#featured-post .featured-homepage-image {
display: inline-block;
}EdwinParticipantOk, thanks. I have another issue. Please see the home page here: https://www.buddhastatuesnow.com
The featured content, header image and secondary menu don’t center properly. It mainly seems that the featured content is skewed to the left. Is it possible to fix this so the whole page centers properly?
I recently optimized the images in featured content (decreased the size) to improve download speed. I think this has something to do with it.
EdwinParticipantHello, I recently reduced the size of my featured content images to increase download speed. However, it seems to have skewed the image Titles to the right. Please see here: https://www.buddhastatuesnow.com
Can this be adjusted so the titles and descriptions are centered properly?
