Update: MSIE10 and Firefox do not resize image; Chrome & Android Browsers do resize image. So not consistent across browsers. Also, WP won’t align header style in table row properly, so I have to set the font size on the Category Headers (e.g., Neuroscience & Psychology). I have the style font set to “125%”. That seems to override the responsive CSS also, as it is always fixed at that.

Now if I could just get the font to resize, and the image not to, I’d be very happy. Thanks.

I took out the code. No worries…, I will work with my developer to figure it out. O

And what about the Chrome display issue? I’m seeing others reporting the same problem.

How do I check it and how would I update it? I deleted V1.1.1 and installed V1.2.

I understand purpose of the menu. I have no interest in hiding the menu for mobile. I just want to hide the Page Title that is displayed in the menu; it is poor design to show that Page Title in the bar AND right below it on the page, let alone show that Page Title with a “-“. Rather than me sacrificing the whole menu, sure seems like you could find a way just to hide the Page Title that I pointed out.

Thanks, that is close 😛 It sets the upper limit like I want, but unfortunately, at the higher resolutions, the Sidebar layout breaks. You can see this here: http://onedivinenation.org/welcome/

As shown, this is just a duplicate label on every page at this resolution; it is redundant to the user to see the label twice on the page. If it must be there, it should not have the “-“, since that has no context with any other menu hierarchy.

I’m not we’re on the same page. Is there a way to send you a screenshot?

What I am suggesting is that when a Subpage displays in a Menu, it includes “-Contact”. However, when you are actually on the page at low resolution (smartphone resolution), that same label displays in the gray bar as the Page Title.

There are two different pieces of logic needed here:

    1) If subpage title is listed in Menu, then add “-“.
    2) If subpage title is display in gray bar as Page Title, then DO NOT ADD “-” OR If screen resolution = smartphone, then do not display subpage title in gray bar

Technically, since we already display the page title at the top of the page, it really should be the second logic and not display. Not sure why it is even doing so. Again, if I could send a screenshot, I would.

I can tell you I deleted V1.1.1 after applying the Free theme; I then loaded V1.2 and applied that.

I think that may have been a cache issue, as the Menu button no longer displays for either browser at higher resolution; however, it still shows up on the collapsed menu at lower resolutions.

I understand about displaying the “-” in the Menu, but it should not appear as the page title on the actual web page. I know a little here, I have been in Web UI design for 15 years. I’m not a developer, but the Page Title should never include a “-“. It’s not a critical issue, but would like to see it removed from the Page Title in a future release, please.

    Thanks.

Additional note: On Chrome at high resolution, the Menu button does not show; it shows, however, when the resolution is lowered and the collapsed menu kicks in.
It shows on MSIE10 at all resolutions.

No Sakin, you are not following me and I find that frustrating.

What I want is for the site to not resize to the current max size. I want it to max out at the same width as the site when the responsive design is disabled. I want max size = fixed disabled size, but I want it to resize when at smaller resolutions. I just want that last RESIZE UP to not be so large.

I upgraded, but now things are worse. There is a Menu button on my primary navigation which displays everywhere at every resolution and which I do not want and I cannot seem to turn off. Also, for all subpages, they still display with the dash. Again, my Contact page under About shows as “-Contact”. It should just be “Contact”.

Thanks, I’ve downloaded the V1.2 file, but when I try to upload, I get a failure error because the folder already exists. I read your FAQ on upgrading, but it does not help.

It is also not clear what I am going to have to redo when I upgrade. I have not changed any code under the hood, just some Custom CSS. Will I need to completely set up all my settings through “Theme Options” again?

I tried playing with that code and could not get it to do what I want. What I want is for the site to not resize to the current max size. I want it to max out at the same width as the site when the responsive design is disabled. Does that make sense? I want max size = fixed disabled size. Can you give me the precise code I need to add to do this? Please? 🙂

This sounds like the same bug we discussed, Sakin…. My last item is shows on non-menu pages. Also, for all subpages, they display with the dash. So, for example, my Contact page under About shows as “-Contact”. It should just be “Contact”. These two items are rather highly visible design issues on the mobile responsive site, so it would be great to see a release with a fix soon. 🙂 Thanks!. http://www.onedivinenation.org

Okay, thanks, I’ll review with my developer and see if he is comfortable making adjustments.

okay, thanks. Another question… How do I adjust the responsive design at high resolution? It seems to re-size one size too many, and I’d like to fix it so it does not jump to that largest size? Or at least play around with different settings to get it to how I would like it to max out.

Also, I had a hell of a time getting to your site today.  Are you hosted on Go Daddy?  I’m a bit concerned about their service…
