I think I’ve solved this issue. I’ve decided to take the get sidebar code out of the single.php file and place it in my child theme folder. That took care of not showing the sidebar on those post pages.
If there is a better way to do this. Please let me know.
corinnecollins.comMemberOkay, thanks.
corinnecollins.comMemberAwesome! Thank you. I should have thought of that, but been working on so many things related to this one site, I didn’t even think about that css tag and selector.
corinnecollins.comMemberHere is the site URL http://www.tomnehl.com/, notice at this time the page header and content take up a fixed width on the screen and there is a grey background on either side. I’d like to be able to have the page header and content as wide as the screen or at least 90% width of the screen, with little to no background on either side. Sorry I wasn’t more specific. Does this make more sense to you?

corinnecollins.comMemberHi Sakin,
I saw the option for full width no sidebar, I guess I wasn’t explicit enough. Is it possible to make it fluid rather than fixed? I really like the catchbox theme and hope the responsive design will allow this. My client wants it full width of screen.
corinnecollins.comMemberAwesome! Thank you soooo much, worked like a charm.
