I have not been able to successfully update Full Frame Pro since I bought it. I am stuck on version 2.1.
How can I get it to successfully update?
My website is http://ronziodigital.com and I am using WordPress.

September 1, 2015 at 2:26 pm #65703TimoParticipantHi folks,
I’m experiencing the same problem as andrewmaff.
I am not able to update the theme. I tried using the catch updater but I always get an error while trying to update that says:Das Theme wird installiert…
Der Zielordner existiert bereits. /wp-content/themes/full-frame-pro/
Die Themeinstallation ist fehlgeschlagen. It basically says, that the destination folder already exists and the installation failed.
I guess I could just delete the old theme folder and install the new one, but that would destroy my whole design/settings/etc. wouldn’t it?
I just wan’t to update the theme, I don’t wan’t to rebuild the whole website.Any suggestions on this?
Thanks,
TimoSeptember 23, 2015 at 6:34 pm #67341silviaMemberI’ve the same problem. I don’t get to update it nor using wp nor my FTP account. It seems that I should set the website from the beginning, but I don’t won’t to loose everything!
Could you help with this?
Thanks,
SilviaSeptember 25, 2015 at 4:26 pm #67517SakinKeymaster@silvia: You can check out theme instructions page at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/full-frame-pro/#updating .
If you want to update from WordPress Dashboard, then first you need to install and activate Catch Updater Plugin http://catchthemes.com/wp-plugins/catch-updater/ from “Plugins => Add New => Uploads”. After you upload and activate this plugin. You can download Full Frame Latest Version from your account at http://catchthemes.com/my-account and then upload theme zip file from “Appearance => Themes => Add New => Uploads”.
But if you want to use it from FTP then you need to unzip the latest version and then replace it in “wp-content/themes/full-frame-pro/”
Let me know if you still have issue then reply me in email. I have emailed you as well.

as you can see in my Post from 1st Sep I did that already.
While trying to update with the catch updater I get the following error: destination folder already exists and the installation failed. As I also said: I guess I could just delete the old theme folder and install the new one, but that would destroy my whole design/settings/etc. wouldn’t it?

Deleting theme and adding it again will not remove your settings. It just replaces the files and it’s safe. It’s only issue if you have made changes in any files inside theme folder.

That’s the information I needed. Thank you.
