Is there a way to have the plain domain name direct to a different page in this theme without making that page the theme’s official homepage? I want the homepage to remain as it is, and be reachable via “url.com/home,” but have “url.com” lead to a different menu option without being treated as the theme’s homepage with the featured image and everything.

Alternatively (if the above is not possible), is there a way to have the header media link button scroll the page downwards when pressed? So once you press the header button, the page jumps down so that the site’s menu is now at the top of the page and the page’s content is below it.

Apologies if these are confusing questions, I am not particularly tech-savvy!

@angelp: Yes, you can make the plain domain(url.com) link to different page from theme’s official homepage(url.com/home) . You’ll need to create static Front Page in Settings.

    • Go to Settings => Reading => Your Homepage displays and set it to static page like ‘Landing’.
    • Create a separate page named ‘Home’  and link it as url.com/home.(Now the theme will treat /home as normal page)

For second option, which involves a scroll-down effect, you’ll need to include additional JavaScript and CSS to implement the functionality, as this theme doesn’t currently have that feature.

Please feel free incase you need any further assistacne.

    Kind Regards,
