    Hi – me again 🙂

    i want to display a unique background image on one of my pages – now according to all my research this should work..

    body.page-id-7534 {
    background: url(‘parchment.jpg’) no-repeat scroll center top / contain;
    background-color: #cc0000;
    }

    i really don’t need the background to be red it just tells me that i’m modifying that page because my image is not appearing there.

    is there anything in the theme that would prevent me from doing this? is the path to where my images are stored somehow unique?

    thanks

    @planarknight: Hello there,
    Can you please let me know the Name of the page where you would like to have the background image?

    Kind Regards,

    I should clarify – I am looking to make parchment as a background image on several pages – the boogie_monster is simply my test page.
    is there a reason the code is not working as expected in the theme?
    thanks

    Hi Skandha, ultimately it will be several pages – we’re are looking to replicate a newspaper and the background should be parchment.

    so as a test i have a page called “boogy_monster” its page id is 7534, the file in the media library is “parchment.jpg”

    can this be done by me after you setup the first example?

    thanks
