using the kathmandu pro

when clicking on a post ie. from homepage to post, the slider image is active. however the image does not rotate and the title is the same as the post, however the text is from a different post.

please check at http://hokkaidoguide.com/

click on any post, check slider image, title and then text. text will rotate but image and title will not.

@rawikltd: Checked your site and the slider seems to be working fine. Image is rotating and as well as the title and contents too. Let me know further.

ok its not working on my pc or phone. did you check a post?
the home page works fine. but the posts do not.

but select any post and it the same.

and now its working on my pc too it seems??!

well i have no idea… thanks very much, im not sure why but it definitely wasnt working and wasnt working on my coworkers pc either. it had stopped working basically all last month.
but now it seems to be fine as you say.

hello again!

ok its stopped rotating again! the text only is rotating not the title and the pic.

could you check again? even the top page is not working. something strange is happening. it seems to work for a while then stop then work again.

hi

i know how to fix the problem but i dont know why it is happening in the first place.

if i log into the theme options and re-choose the option ie – categories an then click on the category i want again the slider will start working again.

but i dont know why it is stopping in the first place.
very weird. any ideas.

@rawikltd: Okay, now I do see the issue. Are you using any plugins? If yes, try disabling the plugins one by one and check if that resolves the issue. Let me know further.

This is the culprit! when this plugin is active your slider doesnt work. they dont like each other it seems.

awesome thank you! i actually am not really using this plug in much anyway so i will just delete it however this may be a issue u might want to look into. the reason why they dont work together may crop up with other plug ins. anyway i dont know enough about this stuff to understand so ill leave that up to you.

i dont know why it would work for some time then stop. also if i went back to the catch themes options and clicked on my selection for the sliders images again, and then clicked save again, it would start working again for a week or two. then stop.

totally weird but anyhow. when i turn this on the slider stops, when i turn it off it starts again. only on the post pages. the top page was fine! no effect. thats all the info i can tell you.

hopefully this resolves the issue for me permanently!

@rawikltd: Glad to know, you’ve finally found the culprit. Some plugins do conflict with the theme and the theme won’t work as per it should, causing the issue. Thank you for the information. Have a nice day!
