On initial page load, the slider does not show. Instead, the featured-grid-content is at top of page.
If you scroll to bottom of page, slider appears – but it should be visible without having to do that.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

I checked your site on my end and the slider showed up at the top on the first load itself. Can you please attach a screenshot of the issue at your end?
