HI
I am using Adventurous Pro: http://www.aromahoney.com/
I want to add Schema.org code to make the site more easily indexed by search engines.
I have not seen any specific schem.org code in the templates.
Can I just start adding the code in the header and page templates?
Are there any obstacles I should be aware of in the template files?
Kind regards
Julien
@JMB Travel: When you are changing any core theme files you need to change it by building child theme. Also if you are going to add in, then we can work together. Let me know it.
@Sakin. Does CatchThemes intend to add this soon as standard? Many other templates now offer it.
It is after all a simple functionality to add.
ThxJ
@jmb-travel: It’s not that easy for us. We need to check in all and make it compatible. So, we are researching about it.
Do you have any idea of timelines.
It is a big plus to be found more easily by search engines and a big minus when it is not possible. Many other themes offer it as standard.
Kind regards
J
@jmb-travel: Not sure about the timeline. Yes, we are always evolving to add in new features so will be adding it soon. Many user don’t want it. Also none of the default WordPress theme has added in scheme. So, the best option is to add scheme by using WordPress plugin. Try searching for plugin at http://wordpress.org/plugins/
