ParticipantIs it possible to make all the photos in my posts to be of the same sizes or hard crop in Foodie World Pro – so they will be aligned and look better?
My site is cookinginaction.com.

Participant@nrgjdoria: Hello Nick,
The recommended image size for post thumbnails is 480*360px. So I suggest you to use the similar image size or the same aspect ratio.Kind Regards,

ParticipantI did resize the photos like the strawberry cake and the jolibee steak, but they show the same. Is it possible for the theme to do the hard crop of all posts featured photos instead?

Participant@nrgjdoria: Hello Nick,
The image size of the post Strawberry cake doesn’t seem to be 480*360px. Are you sure you re uploaded the image using recommended image size?Kind Regards,

ParticipantI tried changing it in the featured image option to crop the photo in the media library by changing the size to 480×360 of which, I thought I cropped it or changed the size. But when I tried to view it by refreshing the page, the photo still the same of longer than the others vertically. Do you have any recommendation how to resize photos that are in the WordPress media library that works?

ParticipantFyi, I checked all or most of the photos in my blog and they are all high resolution images/photos varies from 780×1024 to 2556×4323 just to provide the sizes, and only two of them which is the strawberry cheesecake and waldorf salad are not being “hard cropped” by Foodie World Pro theme.

ParticipantI just posted the feature image photo again, and it hard cropped it now. This seems to be fixed now, and it seems the latest version did the hard-cropping but I have to redo or remove the featured image and put it back again.
Thanks

Participant@nrgjdoria: Hello Nick,
When you have to resize an image it is better if you delete the image from Media then resize it and re upload it.Kind Regards,

ParticipantI didn’t do any resizing of the photos. All I did was replaced the featured images using the high resolution photos 1028×1331, but the grid seemed hard-cropped it. That will be my next project how to resize and condense my photos for the performance of the website.
Overall for now, I am good with regards to the photos in the grid/posts.
Thanks
Nick
