    Hello,

I’m having a bit of an issue regarding the Footer and Primary Sidebar widgets on the catch base theme. I’d like them to only appear on the homepage, and not on any other pages. I have found page IDs and tried to remove them via css, to no success.

    Any pointers?

    Thanks.

@cytorath18: You can install Jetpack plugin and activate “Widget Visibility” module from where you wan control widget is various pages.

I enabled visibility of the widgets only to the homepage – however, alternative pages still show up with this:

    Primary Sidebar Widget Area

This is the Primary Sidebar Widget Area if you are using a two or three column site layout option.

By default it will load Search and Archives widgets as shown below. You can add widget to this area by visiting your Widgets Panel which will replace default widgets.

    Archives

    June 2015
    Widgetized Sidebar

This panel is active and ready for you to add some widgets via the WP Admin

Is there a way to disable the sidebar on other pages altogether, rather than just the widgets?

@cytorath18: You can edit that page and then select “No Sidebar (Content Width)” from Layout options, that you will see in Catchbase Options meta box below you page editor.
