    It would suit me to display my posts as if they were pages, ie. showing no category/taxonomies/meta data – if that were possible I could very easily sort out long chapter menus using a plugin called ‘display widgets’?

    Alternatively, is it possible to ‘categorise’ pages?

    @oly: Just add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
    .entry-meta { display: none; }

    Thanks – only thing is it also takes away the little ‘EDIT’ at bottom of post : (

    @oly: You don’t need that edit button. That is only displayed to show to users who are logged in. But if you see at the top header black bar that comes in the post when you are login. You will have “Edit Post” link there. It’s works same way.
