Hi,
I just upgraded to Catch Base Pro 2.1 and have two problems with Featured Post Content.
1) The titles are now missing from the three featured posts that I have enabled on my website. You can see it here: http://www.smokinggun.de. Featured image is there and the abstract, but no titles anymore (they were there with version 2.0).
2) How can I add more posts? There is a field “No of featured content”. But whatever number I input there I only get three fields to add post ids.
Thanks.

1. Looks like there is bug in Featured Post Content and we will fix this in next version update. Planning to release it on Monday.
2. After you change the value on “No of Featured Content”, you need to refresh your customizer. So, what you can do it first change the “No of featured Content” value and then click on “Save and Publish” after that the “Customizer” then again from your WordPress Dashboard re-launch it by going to “Appearance => Customize => Featured Content Options”. Then you will see more option to add in post IDs.March 8, 2015 at 3:37 am #52896AndreasMemberHi Sakin,
Thank you for your help.
1. I am looking forward for the next release. Thanks!
2. I now see the additional options, but if you look at my website, you can see that this feature seems to be broken. I have five featured posts enabled and they are are all over my start page.
What I am looking for is a feature where I have three columns enabled (as I have done) and then I can have up to 20 posts that are shown randomly in the three columns. I hope this is possible?
Regards, Andreas
March 8, 2015 at 11:41 pm #52918SakinKeymaster@Andreas: For 20 post to show automatically. You can choose “Featured Content Type” as Featured Category Content, select the category and change the no of featured content to 20. So, it will show 20 latest post from those category you have selected.
March 10, 2015 at 1:10 am #52992AndreasMemberHi Sakin,
the bug in 1) is fixed. Thank you!
Isn’t it possible to show only three featured posts but to have them chosen randomly from a greater pool of posts from different categorys? That would be great to get some more variety on the start page.
Keep up the good work. I really dig your theme. 🙂
March 10, 2015 at 1:28 am #52994SakinKeymaster@Andreas: Hum there is no random option at this stage. You can only select category. If you need to make it random then you need to build child theme and edit that category featured content query.
March 20, 2015 at 9:39 am #53780JohnParticipantUsing Gridalicious Pro theme.
“Featured Content #1” and “Featured Content #2” are not displaying when I use the option: “Featured Image Content”
I want 3 images to show up, so for now, I found a work around:
Set “No of Featured Content” to 5, and use #3, #4 & #5.
But can you tell me if it’s a bug or if I’m doing something wrong? Thanks!
March 20, 2015 at 9:51 am #53781JohnParticipantUpdate,
Now my work around does’t work.
Featured Image Content only displays the LAST item in the list!
Featured Page Content works properly.
March 20, 2015 at 2:18 pm #53798herographicsMemberHello, I’v got an issue too with featured content.
Nothing shows up.
Only the demo version works…blog.designhero.tv the featured content is on, 4 columns nothing 🙂
Thanks.
March 20, 2015 at 2:49 pm #53805SakinKeymaster@John: Thanks John, we found the issue and we will be release this fixed and many more tonight with Gridalicious Pro version 2.0. Sorry for the trouble.
March 20, 2015 at 11:27 pm #53840SakinKeymaster@herographics: I see that you are using Catch Base Free version where there in only Featured Page Content or Demo Featured Content. So, just go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Content Options”, choose “Featured Page Content” in “Select Content Type”. Then you need to select the pages one by one/
December 18, 2015 at 4:57 pm #81340AshParticipantHi Sakin,
I am today experiencing problems with missing titles in the featured content boxes.
The titles are now missing from the four featured content boxes that I have enabled.
I have been using the demo featured content option, which I edited. The titles are suddenly missing.I have already taken the steps mentioned below.
After you change the value on “No of Featured Content”, you need to refresh your customizer. So, what you can do it first change the “No of featured Content” value and then click on “Save and Publish”A solution would be appreciated.
Thanks
