I have installed and activated the Essential Content Types plugin and have enabled Portfolio projects. When I go to Customizer to edit settings, I still get the message “For Portfolio, install Essential Content Types Plugin with Portfolio Content Type Enabled” – It is enabled! Your site looks great! I hope you get the answers to your portfolio question. I have two questions for you about your site. 1) How did you get your home page image to show up so big? Is it just a function of the original image size or did you do something to enlarge it? 2) How did you get the social media icons at the bottom of your home page to show up? What plug or other method did you use? Many thanks!

@forestine: I checked you site and you seem to have activated essential widgets plugin but not essential content types plugin. Can you make sure you have the same Essential Content Types plugin activated as this?

@ishaman: His homepage image shows up big because he has used a bigger image compared to yours.
To get social media icons

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Menus => Create a Menu => Add items => Use custom links to add social media links => Then enable the menu in Social Menu (Menu Location)

This should bring social media icons on the footer.

Thank you Skandha … you never replied to my email. Not interested?
Also, you never told me how to edit the text within my footer so I can make it read iShaman.org, your code just made the entire word lower case but I want it to be iShaman.org, not ishaman.org or Ishaman.org as it was before your code made it all lower case.
