Hi! My website, lizmaritz.com, is not yet published, but it is coming soon. I’ve customized my theme by going to Appearance > Customize. And the homepage / front-page looks that way I want it to when I preview there. However, when I go to Pages > Homepage > View, the page I see is not right. It doesn’t display the Feature Image, it is sourcing the site title and tagline from General Settings and not the Theme Customization dashboard, the horizontal nav menu shows the wrong labels and order, and the layout for the page is not right (i.e. it has a side bar).

I’ve installed the Essential Content Types plug-in, but I did that after I had uploaded all my media / content and created pages.

I think I’m missing something really simple, but I cannot figure it out. Please help!

Hey team! Welp! I feel stupid, but thought I would post here in case anyone else did the same thing. As I was editing all the content in Appearance > Customize, I was saving as a draft, but not PUBLISHING! Dumb dumb, me. Just make sure you’re actually publishing if you’re making changes to the theme but they’re not displaying on your website.

    Take a bow. Sit down.
