hello
I have two questions –1] could you please tell me how to open a page in a new window from the primary menu ?
2] In the header area, where I have my site title and logo and where the primary menu is located, I dont like the white color. In stead, I want to add my own header image with my logo and company name. Is it possible to add a personalized header ?
ThanksNovember 13, 2014 at 5:15 pm #47408SakinKeymaster@vidyaekta:
1. There is link target option in Menu. This screenshot will explain you better http://www.pinterest.com/pin/548594798330834738/2. I don’t get it properly. Can you upload the screenshot in your site or any photo sharing site and paste the link here. So, that I can get it what you mean.

Thanks for responding to my post.
I got the solution to my problem at “point 1”Now my second query :
I am not able to paste the screen shot here. So, pls visit my site goaholidays.ektamedicaltravel.com (under construction but you can see the design on home page). I dont like the white color next to site title and logo. I want to insert the header that I have on my other site ektamedicaltravel.comI hope I was clearer this time in asking my question.
Thanks
VSNovember 13, 2014 at 11:25 pm #47452SakinKeymaster@vidyaekta: You cannot upload the screenshot in our forum. But you can upload in your site or any photo-sharing site and just add in the link here.
To add the header image:
1. Go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Featured Image”
2. Then in “Enable Featured Header Image”, check in Entire Site. As you want the same header image in Entire Site
3. Paste in your image URL or upload the image in “Featured Header Image URL”
4. Then fill in the necessary as per your need and save change.You can disable the header right section from “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Options”
You can remove the your logo and title and description as per your need. For that go to “Appearance => Header” and remove it.
Then you can add the following css in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box to completely hide the header white area
#masthead { display: none; }
November 14, 2014 at 12:35 am #47454vidyaektaMember@sakin, thanks. But unfortunately it did not work. When I followed steps 1-4 as you advised, the new header came exactly below the original header.
Then I entered the code in custom.css. This hid both the headers, new as well as the original. I just wanted my header, not the default one.

#hgroup-wrap { display: none; }
November 17, 2014 at 1:26 am #47587vidyaektaMember@sakin, thanks. This worked. But the primary menu disappeared too along with the default header.
Is there way I can put the primary menu back on the new header?
ThanksNovember 17, 2014 at 5:57 am #47625SakinKeymaster@vidyaekta: But you said you want to make header like your parent site ektamedicaltravel.com . To make like this, you need to disable your primary menu and then use Secondary Menu. That is why I had also asked your to disable the Header Right Sidebar totally from “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Options”

That is fine, I can use only secondary menu.best wishes
