Hello,

I use the free Catch Box-theme and have started to make a swedish translation. When I updated from 1.6.2 to 1.6.3 some of my translations stopped working, but some still work and I can’t find any obvious reason in my files.

For example the translation of

<span class=\”sep\”>Posted on </span><a href=\”%1$s\” title=\”%2$s\” rel=\”bookmark\”><time class=\”entry-date\” datetime=\”%3$s\” pubdate>%4$s</time></a><span class=\”by-author\”> <span class=\”sep\”> by </span> <span class=\”author vcard\”><a class=\”url fn n\” href=\”%5$s\” title=\”%6$s\” rel=\”author\”>%7$s</a></span></span>

doesn’t work anymore

but

<span class=\”%1$s\”>Posted in</span> %2$s

still does.

I’ve tried to make a new translation from the included .pot-file but the result is the same

I’ve got a simmilar problem here: Some parts are translated (in German) some not. Have a look: http://fahrrad.audacieux.de/archives/2013/01/04/dynamopflicht-oder-eben-nicht/

previous and next isn’t translated, but comments is translated. Also the leave comment texts.

Here’s the thing: I didn’t customized anything at the language files. Is it a effect from your recent update?

@openMind: All our translation if done voluntary by all users like you. So, I need to ask them on the fixed and will update.

I don’t think that the translation file is wrong. Or to be more precisely: It did function very well a few days ago…

@openMind:I have found one issue in the .pot file. So, I have send for update. I hope that will fix it. Need to wait for theme review team to approve it. For now, can you replace this file http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/catch-box/1.7.1/languages/catchbox.pot in your current theme and check it.

Hi Sakin, thanks for your improvement, but mine isn’t working…I’ve replaced the file, but the failure schema is still the same. 🙁

Please have a look again, I was so glad as the theme was working properly 🙂

Same problem here, but in spanish..and for the same words openMind mention. Working with 1.7 version of the theme. I tried with the other version of the .pot file you posted, but no luck. I also tried to open the original .pot file, but there was an error:

01:13:02 p.m.: C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Temp\poeD8A3.tmpref.pot:110: duplicate message definition…
01:13:02 p.m.: C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Temp\poeD8A3.tmpref.pot:105: …this is the location of the first definition
01:13:02 p.m.: C:\Program Files (x86)\Poedit\bin\msgmerge.exe: found 1 fatal error

However, I could open the .pot file you posted above. Should I try translating it from the scratch, using this new .pot file? Also, the original es_ES.po file was well translated. All of the lines. I don’t know much about all of this, but I think the .pot file is failing somewhere.

Please tell me if I can help you in something. Pretty nice theme, by the way. Thanks for all of your efforts!
