When I try to download my purchase theme in WordPress, it keeps on saying that the zipped file is invalid.
October 11, 2012 at 7:15 pm #1165SakinKeymasterCan you check again. It must be when your order was still in processing. But when I check in your account it looks fine.
Let me know if there is problem then I will contact you through email.
January 27, 2013 at 9:40 am #3365smccave1MemberWhen I log into my catch theme account it says that I don’t have any subscriptions or orders; however, I just paid for an upgrade to Simple Catch Pro. Why isn’t this showing up on my account?
January 27, 2013 at 10:19 am #3367SakinKeymaster@smccave1: I just talked with my sales and she already emailed you the details. Please check in your email.

June 26, 2013 at 1:01 pm #11030June 27, 2013 at 12:10 am #11064sross00MemberI am trying to install Catch Mustang onto WordPress after converting it into a zip file. It tells me I am missing the template.
Please advise.
Thank you.
June 27, 2013 at 1:53 am #11086SakinKeymaster@sross00: you don’t need to convert it into zip file. You can just download the zip from your account at http://catchthemes.com/my-account/ and upload the zip file itself. I will also contact you through email, if you need further assistance.
July 10, 2013 at 10:34 pm #11643dmoxnamMemberI downloaded the zipped folder of Catch Everest. After much trial and error, I finally got Word Press to acknowledge that I had installed Catch Everest, but it won’t let me switch to this new theme. It lists Catch Everest under a heading saying “Broken Themes” with the description “Template is missing.” Is there any reason why my theme is listed as incomplete? How can I fix this?
July 11, 2013 at 1:20 am #11654SakinKeymaster@dmoxnam: When you have this type of issue you need to delete the folder catch-everest from your FTP.
December 9, 2014 at 11:33 pm #48688ErinParticipantI’m unable to upload the Catch Kathmandu Pro theme that I purchased. If I follow the steps for both uploading it in my WP dashboard or through my cPanel, I continually get errors.
December 10, 2014 at 2:03 pm #48704SakinKeymaster@Erin: Can you send me your site URL and more about the error. I will also email you personally so that you can send me detail information.
The installation process is quite simple.
1. You need to login to your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Go to “Appearance => Themes”
3. Then clock on “Add New” and then click on “Upload Theme”
4. Then click on Browse and select catch-kathmandu-pro.zip file that you have downloaded
5. Then click on “Install Now” and then activate it.You can also check this screencast http://devotepress.com/wordpress-writing-editing/upgrade-premium-version-wordpress-themes-eg-adventurous-pro/, just skip to 4:30 minutes and you will how to install it.
April 3, 2015 at 11:00 pm #55025DavidMemberDo I have to have a wordpress.com premium account to upload the theme I bought? Or do I need to set up hosing somewhere to use the theme? I keep getting a message that wordpress does NOT allow the uploading of custom themes…. Thanks in advance.
Uploading Custom Themes
Uploading a third-party or custom theme is possible only on self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software. This means that you cannot upload any themes to your WordPress.com site. Learn more.
Instead of uploading a theme, try checking out the current theme collection to see if there’s an option there that will work well for you.
April 4, 2015 at 2:14 am #55070SakinKeymaster@David: Yes, you cannot upload third party theme in WordPress.com. All WordPress.org theme can only to uploaded in Self Hosted site and not in WordPress.com
August 1, 2015 at 3:42 am #61911BrigitteMemberI purchased Catch base pro 2.4 on May 29th and finally got to a computer to install. It was not processing on my tablet while I was traveling. I’ve tried to install both with zip file, and directly from the email i received on the date of purchase. It keeps saying “invalid file” and will not let me upgrade to catch base pro 2.4
Please help!
Thank you
August 1, 2015 at 9:27 pm #61934SakinKeymaster@Brigitte: It shouldn’t be like that. Can you re-download the zip file from your account at http://catchthemes.com/my-account. It should be zip file version 3.0.1. Then upload it from “Appearance => Themes => Add New => Uploads”.
May 14, 2016 at 3:33 am #91671SuParticipantI just purchased simple catch pro and downloaded it. When I go to upload onto wordpress it is not a zip file but rather already unzipped with many contents. How do I get it to a zip so I can upload?
