In wp-admin I went to theme templates and added a footer template that I want to use across all my pages. However, after adding the footer the header image has disappeared from the front page.

@ushasj: Hello there,
I suggest you not to directly core theme files as all the changes you make will get lost when you update the theme to newer version. Can you let me know what you are trying to achieve?

I am trying to add the footer that you see on the bottom of the page currently. But after adding that the header image ontop disappeared (site header)
