Hi. I just purchased my Catch Evolution theme today and I already really like it. It is SO much better than my old theme. I have a question, though. In Theme Options, we are given the opportunity to single out certain categories of posts to display on the front screen. This works great, and is something I’ve wanted for a long time. My problem is that these category posts STILL show up in my blog which is separate from my front page.

So, just to clarify, I want to have ONE category (called Homepage) show up on my front page. This WORKS. PERFECTLY. But I don’t want any “Homepage” categories to show up in my blog and right now they do.

Is there some sort of plug-in that could help with this? I’m pretty dumb when it comes to PHP.

    Thank you in advance,

    Michael Hiebert

@Michael: Your site seems to be quite different. As people will select either Static Front page or latest posts (blog). So, if you have page blog then your homepage will have static page and vice-versa. Which you can choose from “Settings => Reading”. But I haven’t encounter that homepage have latest page and again you have blog page. Maybe you want to create category call blog and then add all the other category as the Child of your blog category and have one category as Homepage which is called only in homepage. In this way, you can create custom menu from “Appearance => Menus” and then add your Blog category to menu.

Maybe share your site URL and then I can check in what are you trying to do it.
