I have the Adventurous Pro theme.

The header images is limited to 1600 × 400 pixels.
How can I update a larger image?

I would like to have a large header with the same theme.
More like 3000 × 1408

Please let met me know how to update.

@jannetwalsh: Hello Jannet,
You can simply replace the image you are using with the new image.

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Header Image => Add New image and Upload the new image and Publish.

I understand how to change the image.

But I wanted to change the size to the header, larger (taller) than what is allowed.

For that you will need to create a child theme and do a little bit of customization. Let me know if you are familiar with child theme customization otherwise I suggest you to hire a customizer.
