I’m trying to embed a Google calendar in the body of a page using the auto-generated iframe code from Google, but when I hit “update”, the code is automatically removed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My development site is http://wp.biota.utoronto.ca/guttman/

@pseudomonas: If you have embed code then it will be better then iframe and also to add in code, you need to be in your text mode of page editor. See this screenshot https://www.pinterest.com/pin/548594798332210926/

Hi Sakin, thanks for your response. Unfortunately, Google only seems to offer iframe embedding code, and none of the Google calendar plugins work anymore now that Google is forcing unique API keys. Is it possible to use iframe embedding with this theme? It works fine on my other site with a different theme.

@pseudomonas: Iframe should also work. Try to add iframe code in text mode like I showed you in screenshot.

I have done so repeatedly with different versions of the google iframe code. I don’t use the visual editor, only the text editor. As soon as I hit update, the iframe code disappears entirely. I’m using the auto-generated iframe code from Google calendar: <iframe src="https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=q2p78cv4u4metchog29n09h310%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/Toronto" style="border: 0" width="800" height="600" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

@pseudomonas: I am able to add it same code. I hope you don’t have any plugin conflict or security block in your server which protect from inserting iframe code. I am able to add iframe code in Simple Catch Pro theme. See these screenshot:

Hm, okay. Time to start test-deactivating plugins, I guess. Thanks for taking the time to run through this with me.

@pseudomonas: If that’s no plugin issue then you might want to contact your server. Sometime, it might be server issue. After you deactivate plugin create new page and test it in there first.
