How do I get the feature image on my static home screen to cover the entire page? So that the image takes away all of the whitespace.

This is kind of how I want my front page to look. How his background covers the full page and is transparent with all of his menus and logos being displayed.

@joma5662: You can use the Header Media for this purpose. Go to => Appearance => Customize => Header Media => Select a Header Image

To have the menu transparent you will need to get your site customized.

Let me know if this is what you want!

But that just enables the image to cover the header, I don’t want that I want it to cover the entire homepage including the header.

@joma5662: You will need to get your site customized for that. I suggest you to hire a customizer.
